(STCW) Standard of Training & Certification of watch keeping. Who wish to begin a career in the Merchant Navy, abroad a ship, require to do basic Training program as minimum requirement.
Maritime Training Institute have faculty of many STCW courses which are not about a single course! Many courses come under its umbrella. Some courses belong to advanced level. Such advanced courses can be pursed only after obtaining sea service or similar certificates (or qualifications). Maritime Training Institute is first ever institution in field of marine which is approved by the Govt. of Pakistan (Ministry of Maritime Affairs).
